10:00 - 5:00 - Configure FlexFabric switches. Created LACP ports on switches, created Shared Uplink Sets, created vNetworks and assigned VLAN IDs. Created host profiles.

10:00 - 5:00 - Complete creation of fabric. Troubleshoot cabling issues. Install ESX to 2 blade servers.

12:00 - 7:00 - Custom creation of RC and HOSTS files. Reconfigure ifgrp's on both Netapp heads to facilitate SnapMirror from Dex. Add VLANs to LAGs. Test. Successfully created Fabric-A and Fabric-B on FlexFabric switches. Created custom RC and HOSTS file for Dex NetApp.

8:00 - 10:30 pm - Create volume/lun on Netapp for vCenter. Uploading iso's to datastore exhibited long transfer times. Troubleshooting of FlexFabric ethernet networks. Meeting with Saam (2 hours). Vilson had me tear down the config and build a new config with all 4 GbE ports in a single uplink set in 2 bays. Problems. Connectivity that existed to ESX host died. Configured VIF on DEX filers. Discussed SnapMirror best practices as volume list that was provided was not accurate.
